「M3 クイックワイドマグレバー」は、ワイド化したレバーをトリガーガード内に移動する事で、人差し指でのクイックリリース操作が可能になり、2つのタイプの取り付け位置、そして左右兼用である為、射手を選ばない設計で仕上げています。
M3はリアルなフォルムを追求する為に、コッキング後のロック解放レバーをマガジンリリースレバーに流用しています。
実銃では、使用頻度の関係と誤作動や不用意に触れないようにする為に、小さなサイズで遠い位置にあります。
発射回数の増えるエアガンの場合、頻繁にマガジンチェンジを行う為、このレバーの大きさでは最後まで引ききれずにシェルポート内に残ってしまったり、位置的に素早い操作が行えないといった問題が生じます。
また、サバイバルゲームでの必需品であるグローブを装備した場合は、更に操作性が悪くなってしまいます。
