About the BMS (Battery Management System)
This product is equipped with a BMS (Battery Management System) to protect the battery.
The BMS monitors for over-discharge, over-current, short circuits, and cell temperature. If an anomaly is detected, the protection function activates to protect the battery. The temperature protection function monitors the cell surface temperature and will activate if the temperature exceeds the range of -5°C to 50°C. Cell temperature can rise not only due to ambient conditions but also due to the state of the electric gun and usage conditions. Therefore, please avoid prolonged continuous use or excessive loads that could lead to abnormal heat generation. Please note that the BMS is an auxiliary function intended to improve safety and does not completely prevent or guarantee against accidents or failures.
Differences from LiPo Batteries
LiPo batteries, widely used as batteries for airsoft electric guns, are characterized by high output and compact size. In contrast, the Li-ion battery adopted in this product features cylindrical cells in metal cases and a BMS, with a design that emphasizes safety through capacity and protection functions. As a result, it is larger than a LiPo battery of the same voltage range, requiring an airsoft electric gun with ample battery space for installation. LiPo batteries and Li-ion batteries each have different characteristics. Please choose according to the electric gun you use and the performance you require.
What is a Lithium-Ion Battery?
This product is a battery that prioritizes safety and protection functions by adopting cylindrical cells sealed in metal cases and equipped with a BMS (Battery Management System).
*This product requires a storage space similar to that for large batteries in models like the Tokyo Marui M16A2.
*It cannot be stored in electric guns that use compact battery spaces, common in recent years.
