The Sawyer is a portable water filter boasting the world's highest level of purification performance. It eliminates the need to carry large amounts of water and allows you to drink water immediately from rivers, lakes, and other water sources scattered throughout the area, making it a popular choice for hikers and long-distance hikers. By filtering the water through its ultra-high-density filter, it removes 99.99999% of harmful bacteria, aquatic microorganisms, and parasites like echinococcus from the water, turning it into potable water.
*This filter cannot remove dissolved solids including calcium, magnesium, and heavy metals dissolved in water, radioactive substances, industrial wastewater, water that may contain dissolved chemicals, or viruses that are even smaller than bacteria.

0.1-micron compatible water purification filter <br>The filter body contains a U-shaped hollow fiber membrane, which filters water through countless uniform 0.1-micron holes. This allows us to create a high-performance, compact, lightweight, and durable filter. 0.1 microns is equivalent to 0.0001 mm in millimeters, and does not allow common bacteria, which are said to be 0.5 to 1 micron in size, to pass through.

While maintaining its traditional water purification capabilities, it requires no filter replacement, chemicals, or power sources, and can produce up to 1,900 liters of drinking water per day.
*The tap filter is compatible with faucets, hoses, and some faucet aerators with a diameter of 17mm to 20mm.
*Please note that some faucets may not be compatible.
*The filter may come off if you pour water too forcefully. Start by pouring water little by little, then gradually increase the amount of water before use.
*Please refrain from using in water over 57°C, as this may cause the rubber at the connection point to deteriorate.

Backflush (maintenance cleaning)
After use, you can clean the filter by using the included cleaning syringe (without needle) to inject clean water backwards to remove impurities. Backflushing restores approximately 98% of the filter's functionality, allowing you to purify water as before.
*If you feel that the function is not returning, we recommend repeating the backflush several times.
